Biography

One of Lil Wayne’s most iconic lines is “Man, I got so many styles, I am a group” and when you deep dive into the abilities of Louisville slugger Mandell Harrison, you see that the bar is not solely Weezy F Baby’s to claim. The man writes, raps, sings, produces, and engineers his own work. Born in Cleveland, Ohio but growing up in Louisville Kentucky, Mandell is a unique individual from his style, as a former Finishline model, to the range of music that he makes. You can get anything bare-knuckle raps to alternative bangers and bedroom ballads like those found on his Baby EP. This should not come as a shock, as his musical inspirations are The-Dream, Drake, and Prince. He’s made a name for himself locally, with close ties to The Homies and Jack Harlow, having opened for both on separate occasions at Galaxy Bar and Bourbon Hall alongside Down To Mars, respectively. Mandell has even touched festival stages, showing what he can do at Forecastle Festival. You might see his selfies on Instagram or be swept up by his Southern charm in person, but the music is truly a force to be reckoned with. Stay tuned for what more is to come from the multi-talented gentleman.
