Soitan means I am playing in finnish. He's always laying out the melody on piano as the starting point of his process. Classical music was always played at home. From a young age not knowing how to play piano soitan started out playing piano until it started to sound good. Naturally the music coming out from that process was he's own. Later soitan started studying classical music at the local music institute. Taking more inspiration from classical music into his own work. In 2016 piano was not enough, leading to exploring how to take his music to the next level. Entering the edm scene soitan started making dubstep and hard trap, two genres that still to this day define his style. since then he has been making music with and for other artists like Queenlee, Queen Etus, Ivanko and more. The most important thing is a good melody. Soitan mixes classical music theory into hybrid trap, making mostly dark and melancholic music with a very noticeable drum pattern, although soitan is continuously exploring for something new to contribute to the scene. Soitan also likes to go back to his roots and compose instrumental piano music and cinematic ambience.
