The Opening Lines is a Mexican rock band that creates music that combines their musical influences and own style in pursuit of the groove. The Opening Lines are Alberto Baptista, Mario Martínez Tenorio, Roberto Huerta, Román Medellín and Francisco Pérez, with the help and support from best session musicians in the area. In 2012, the band signed to Koss Records and released A King In Our Glass, wich combines their musical influences like Coldplay, Interpol, U2, Pink Floyd, Marillion and Genesis. Over the next two years, they worked on their second record Geometry & Colours and in 2015, they performed in the Forum Puerta de Oro and went on tour in states like Guanajuato, Querétaro and in Six Flags on México City. In their hometown, they performed on the Seat Fashion Weekend and encored to bands like División Minúscula and Porter. The Band is currently working on new material, for their third album due to release through Koss Records, worldwide, in 2021.
