Sk8z is an artist of several mediums. In both respective spectrum's (visual as well as performing), his art is intended to provoke abstract thought. Born and bread a Philadelphia native, his musical influences have always been directly rooted to the sound of Philadelphia. Though experimental with many respective genres, the spirit of soul music is permanently embedded at the root of his his sound. Both a dj and a dancer at heart, his music is targeted to capture both the alternative perspective of avid listeners alike, and the spirit of the dimly lit, gritty cyphers, in back of clubs worldwide.
