Born in San Jose, Cesar Castro starts his musical career in the beginning of the 2005. Influenced initially by house and techno, his technical skills, ability to connect with the crowd and he’s diverse musical style has made him one of the most active and versatile DJ´s in Costa Rica as well as a (Make him a) warm up specialist in the country and resident in the most important clubs of San José:. Club Vertigo and Antik with his signature party BASSement Groove. Over the past 5 years Ces Castro has shared turntables with different top level Djs as Nic Fanciulli, Nicole Moudaber, Lee Burridge, Guy Gerber, Fatboy Slim, Cuartero, Dennis Cruz, Technasia, Dubfire, Chus and Ceballos, Anthony Attalla, La Fleur, Wolf and Lamb, Rich Medina, and Bontan just to name a few. Significant member of the Duo Faceblind, in 2014 started Nocturnal Costa Rica, one of the most important events in Costa Rica and Central America. Bringing to the country artist like Claptone, Wade, Desert Hearts, Dosem, Technasia, Tini Gessler and Bassel Darwish and Making the event an important spotlight for local artist in every Edition. With Faceblind, Ces has participated participate in Festivals like Desert Hearts, BPM Festival, Envision, Life in Color and countries like Ecuador, Guatemala and Panama, just to name a few.
