Carolina Silva, also known as “Linarah” is a Colombian and Ecuadorian based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and music producer born in New Jersey, USA. Her first EP “Indigo” was released with her band “Acronimo” in 2018 at the age of 17 in the city of Quito-Ecuador. From a young age, Linarah had a strong connection with music and started discovering a variety of instruments. She began giving live performances in different venues in Ecuador at the age of 12. As her passion for music increased, she became a founder of the band Acronimo at the age of 16 as the singer, bass, and keyboard player of the band. At the age of 18, Linarah moved to Berlin- Germany for college and experiencing new world view that would eventually lead to the creation of many of her songs. Techno raves, a new culture, and a life away from her family, were different factors that shaped her musical concept at the moment. Other than being a multi-instrumentalist and producing her own songs, Linarah is also a polyglot and speaks fluent Spanish, English, German and is still learning French, Italian, and Portuguese. As of now, Linarah resides in the USA and is studying to become a Sound Engineer. She dedicates her time into creating authentic music for people to connect with, and has the dream of sharing her creations with the world for everyone to grow and heal together. “My music is a part of me I want to give to you to make your own.” -Linarah
