Singer, composer, a versatile artist Edimundo Santos holds several important awards in his native country Brasil, such as the first award at the Festival de Catanduva – Sao Paulo, followed by many others like the “Premio de Cantor Brasileño Revelación 2000” awarded in Portugal by the radio FM Leiria for his album “Mestiço”. Having played in various countries (The Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, China, Portugal, Spain, The UK etc.), he has received invitations from the Embassy of Brasil to pay tribute to Vinicius Moraes for his 100th anniversary in 2013, later from the the theatre group “Teatro Defondo” to be the Music Director of the piece “La ópera del Malandro” by Chico Buarque in 2014, when it was performed in the Teatro de Bellas Artes and the theatre Fernán Gómez, before going on tour in different cities in Spain. In 2015, the play returns to Madrid, this time to the Teatro de Bellas Artes, where he spent two months on the stage.
