Marta Wajdzik – alto and soprano saxophonist, flautist, composer, music producer born in 2001. She is a winner of multiple classical competitions and since 2012 she is focused on development in jazz music, in which field she has already achieved the following successes: • Grand Prix of the 3rd Junior Młyn Jazz Festival Competitions (2019) • I place in solo instrumental category of Blue Note Poznan Competition (2019) • I place in Tarnow Jazz Contest (2017) • Honorable mention for best soloist of National Jazz Band Contest in Artistic Education Center in Warsaw (2017) • Best instrumentalist of 20th Young Jazz And Blues Bands Competitions in Gdynia (2017) Marta Wajdzik performed as a soloist on International Old Jazz Meeting in Ilawa. With her own band she played her first original compositions on Sopot Jazz Festival (2018) and Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa (2018, 2019). On December 2019 together with Pawel Tomaszewski, Robert Kubiszyn and Pawel Dobrowolski she recorded her debut album “My Planet”. The premiere concert took place on 24 February 2020 during 22. International Lotos Jazz Festival – Bielska Zadymka Jazzowa. Marta Wajdzik has performed with Urszula Dudziak, Henryk Miśkiewicz, Robert Majewski, Wiesław Pieregorólka, Golec brothers, Stanisław Słowiński, Andrzej Zubek, Lakecia Benjamin and many others.
