In the beginning, there was Jack... a legacy that continues to inspire. And it’s this classic sound that motivated Australia-based Irish producer and father of two teenage music critics, DENATS, to push himself in the studio. His goal? To craft tracks powerful enough to catch the attention of his favourite record labels. With a deep-rooted passion for music, shaped in the '90s and refined behind the decks, DENATS drew further inspiration from the incredible support of the Robsoul community, including icons like Demuir and label head Phil Weeks. After countless hours initially spent working “in the box” and later expanding his setup with hardware, DENATS is now ready, signed and set to release his debut EP on Robsoul Recordings amongst other great labels such as MK837, Groovphoria, Purveyor Underground and The Underground Chronicles amongst others. “No matter where I start, I always end up near that jacking house sound… hopefully with my own twist on it,” DENATS explains.
