“ I just want to make people feel something this time around,”-Zencris 
   You would think he went through cartons of cigarettes a day by the tone of Zencris’ speaking voice but his sound has the subtle rasp of a smoker coupled with tightly woven harmonies. The mixture creates a unique blend which listeners enjoy in its unfamiliarity.  His birth name is Christopher Reeves which draws resemblance to the famed actor Christopher Reeve who donned the Red Cape as “Superman”. 
 Zencris is no stranger to the music scene, having released his first EP “The Christening “ in the fall of 2015. The lead single of the project, “ Blown Away”, had created a buzz which would later lead to him get signed by an Independent label. 
 His musical influences contain he likes of : Buju Banton, Tank, Usher, Bob Marley, Beres Hammond, Boyz II Men, Ginuwine, Dru Hill, etc 
 
 In the midst of gearing up for another release to push forward, life had other plans for Zencris. he became a dad and took a hiatus to focus on fatherhood.

 Five years and a world pandemic later, Zencris finds himself back in the mix under new management . The release of “ Balcony Music” EP marked his commitment to getting back to it. 
 “ I had to grow and live a little but I’m excited to be creating again”- Zencris
