Elle Anido is a singer-songwriter from Ottawa, Canada. She studied classical piano, danced ballet and studied theatre from the age of 3. She recently completed her bachelor degree in music at Carleton University to prove to herself that music is her one true love and calling and make her mom proud. After taking a hiatus from making music to focus on acting and mental health, she came to the realization that certain standards concerning age, physical appearance and censorship towards women are quite frankly bullshit and it's so easy to give into self-doubt. We are currently living in a time of change and being a voice for change is at the core of her purpose. People's opinions, no matter how well intended, can be reason enough to give up on your dreams. This being said, bad bitches are meant to break moulds and be heard. Elle's style is emo-pop with hiphop and alternative influences and lyrics based on life experience, heartbreak and learning to be confident in herself. She feels alive on stage, lives to perform, and dreams of being surrounded by creative people who see value in changing the world through art. Putting out positivity into the world is super important to her and hopes her music can help people going through similar things through music.
