With his beautifully soulful, yet amazingly exciting voice, and truly heartfelt sound, 21 year-old singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer DOCTOR JAY continues to captivate crowds with his music. DOCTOR JAY's mission is to inspire, enlighten and bring joy to all who take the time to listen, but also endeavours to explore deep and complex concepts with his writing, wishing to be known as a 'Storyteller'. The story behind the name explains that he had seen loved ones go through struggles and pains he felt he could not help with, and the helplessness, along with being on the outside of everyone’s pain, lead him to discover music as a means of possibly shedding light on their circumstances, through telling stories and acknowledging different struggles through song. DOCTOR JAY recently released his self-produced debut album “Heartbreak Anthology: Volume 1”. A 13 song, multi-genre project exploring different forms of heartbreak, and different ways we can hurt. The album, only being the first of more to come, has seen tremendous reception and show opportunities, with singles released prior seeing radio play with BBC Introducing. Today, DOCTOR JAY continues to write, create, and prepare to bring the album experience to the stage and to live audiences.
