Brynjar Daðason is an Icelandic guitarist and composer. He has been a familiar face in the experimental scene of Reykjavík for the past years, partaking in many kinds of improvisations and playing on records by various artists. Brynjar went through extensive guitar studies in his teen years and went on to study composition at the Iceland University of the Arts. In 2021 he released his debut record ‘Pretty Late’ via Mengi Records, an album of hauntingly beautiful works driven by his unique guitar playing and produced by renowned composer/bassist Skúli Sverrisson. Brynjar is currently based in Berlin and has worked on projects with musicians like Gabríel Ólafs, Lisa Montan and múm co-founder Gunnar Týnes.
