Island Levvy is a Barbadian Tropic Urban Artist; a genre coined by himself and defined as a mixture of Tropical Music (reggae, dancehall, bashment soca) and popular Urban Contemporary music (Hip Hop and R&B). Rapid fire flows, a distinctive accent with a clear delivery, melodic heartbreak infused crooning and a raw, picturesque, and relatable style of lyricism and storytelling are but a few sides of this multifaceted artist. With many songs focusing on aspects of love (or the lack thereof), relationships (breakups), various personal trials and tribulations and, of course, typical rapper braggadocio; Levvy describes his music as nothing but an extension of who he is.
