Blending a new take on alternative rock and trap music, singer-producer BLOODSTAIN uses distorted 2000s emo-esque guitar riffs over punchy 808s and hard hitting trap beats to carve out his own niche in the sea of rap-rockstars, emo rappers, and overall modern music. BLOODSTAIN, born Aamir Ansari, started producing as a teenager in the early 2010's. Starting his production career under the name brokenimage, he was focused on combining heavy EDM melodies with bumping trap drums before progressing to productions for rising musicians in 2016. Working on his music since 2012, he’s always poked around in recording himself singing over beats when alone. So as he decided to transition into BLOODSTAIN in 2017 (after getting a tattoo of 3 blood drops on his wrist), he dove into recording himself in his bedroom into the late hours of every night. In May 2018, he released his first project CYBERNET after singles Red Eyes and Space Coupe were a favorite around his home of Dallas, TX. After releasing his single Hidden Deal in 2019, he started work on a new album as the 2020 pandemic began to shut everything down. Going back to his roots of alt-rock and emo music such the likes of Asking Alexandria and Pierce the Veil, his 2022 project NOT YOUR KIND came after singles NOAHS ARK (with frequent collaborator GIMME FLO) and OVERLOAD picked up momentum online.
