Leemz is an upcoming rapper from South London , who uses music as a passage to his emotions and feelings, talking about his real life experiences, issues and problems. He is not your stereotypical BlockBoy! , even though that’s where he is born and raised. He is a rockstar from the block, in terms of his presence. You can see from his focus, confidence and discipline he cannot afford to lose. Reflections of his area are shown in his melodies, he embraces all the trials and tribulations that he, his friends and family have been through and had to overcome. He makes it very evident that he is proud to be a BlockBoy! Growing up it was hard for him to go to the studio, he asked a lot of his older friends around him to take him, but no one had the time. After a while he knew that the only way he was going to pursue a legacy in music was if he learnt how to do it himself. He taught himself how to record, mix and master, which in turn helped him get into the studio and work with very established artists. Leemz first hit the studio when he was 15 years old and has been refining his sound ever since. His sound is best summed up, in his words ‘Free, No Limits, No Boundaries’, it is just him and the mic, which allows him to be as expressive as he can be allowing him to communicate his emotions.
