One of Europe's leading reggae acts, Italian band Mellow Mood was formed in Pordenone (Italy) in 2005. Led by twin brothers Jacob and L.O. Garzia, they released their first album "Move!" 2009. The single Dance Inna Babylon - Remastered soon gained them worldwide recognition. Mellow Mood were signed by Italy's most important independent label La Tempesta in 2012 for the release of their second album Well Well Well (Heart Over Mind Over Matter) and released twin albums Twinz and 2 the World relatively in 2014 and 2015. After intensively touring Europe, Latin America and the US West Coast, in 2018 the band released a new album, entitled Large, via their own independent label La Tempesta Dub, managed jointly with producer Paolo Baldini. By focusing on candid, heartfelt lyricism and heavyweight rhythms, the album captures the impeccable live sound and raw human emotion that Mellow Mood have become known for around the world. Paolo Baldini’s dub take on the album, Large Dub, is then released at the end of 2018. In 2019 the band released One Night, a sweet love ballad soon translated into Spanish Una Noche, before going back to the studio and preparing new material. Mellow Mood will release their new single “Mr. Global” featuring Jamaican artist Kabaka Pyramid on October 2nd, 2020.
