From Fayetteville, NC, Kornball offers introspective & real life relatable music for that kid that may balance the line between the streets and college. A promising career or jail. Born the oldest of 3 to a single mother music was his first love and even stayed a passion while pursuing the dream of playing basketball at the highest level in the NBA. Realizing the harsh reality after a knee injury he fell back in love with the very thing that offered comfort in those dark times, music. Influenced by Andre 3000, Jay Z, Kanye before college & Nipsey Hussle while there he gave himself the stage name Kornball which was embarrassed to empower living your truth, accepting your uniqueness & believing in yourself despite any obstacles. During that time him and close friends met in school made music together in a dorm room they called Studio 120. After graduating college he reconnected with his cousin, also an artist, Roc Brown and began working his craft and perfecting his musical talents. After years of grinding in the city, doing open mics & 4 mixtapes, 2 of those being collaborative projects with Roc. The cousins fell out for some time over a dispute & Kornball joined Deadplay Entertainment during the distance to further his career.
