American Watercolor Movement draws us into a world all their own. With a unique lyrical mutability, their songs appeal to our senses—imparting stories of longing, traveling and searching. American Watercolor Movement began as an experimental musical concept, evolving out of various musings and eclectic sounds. Their integrated fury of music and film, have engaged their audiences over the years. The band has previously supported a range of artists from Adam Franklin (Swervedriver), Dean and Britta (Luna), to Silver Apples. American Watercolor Movement released 3 full length CDs, 3 EPs and played extensively before taking a live performance hiatus. In late 2020 American Watercolor Movement released three separate volumes of unreleased music entitled, Rooftops, Rifles, and Honey followed by an additional collection of unreleased material in early 2022. Their latest album, The Odyssey of Captain Vivian Ribbons is a conceptual album featuring new music from American Watercolor Movement. A full album release has been proposed for mid February 2023 with single releases prior to the full length release. American Watercolor Movement is currently comprised of Jason Cieradkowski, Brian Wilson, John Fesken, Joe Centeno and Mark Townsend.
