Peepstyle is a musical project, born in 2008, from an idea by Max Paparella, which embraces various musical styles by merging them and mainly attributable to Acid Jazz, Funk, Nu-Jazz, Nu-Disco, Classic Rare Groove, Cinematic Soundtrack, Lounge and Chillout. The name is inspired by the Anglo-Saxon term of "Peep Show" in its original form, i.e. a tool that allows you to observe a series of images or objects through a hole or a magnifying glass. The name Peepstyle therefore takes on a precise meaning and wants to be a non-random look at an art form (music), which has its own evolution, such as the heterogeneity of musical genres for example and its influences, but at the same time some fixed points to focus the listening, identifying a recognizable style. The nature of the project cannot do without the constant participation of many other musicians who contribute to making music always rich in different influences and styles, while maintaining their own distinguishable sound, this, thanks to a marked aptitude for improvisation and in knowing how to recreate those enthralling atmospheres typical of the classic vintage sounds of the 60s, 70s and cinematic jazz, often and willingly merging them with electronic music and therefore linked to fresher and more current sounds .
