Biography

Sam Da Grouch is an American music producer/beat maker. Born a Detroit, MI native. Now a resident of Coral Springs, Fl. Best known for his own style of hip-hop production. He started as a rapper for many years in Detroit as Lord Caperell with underground rap group SHYQUAN. After a couple of E.P. Releases and one Album release in 2003 "The Day that Changed the World" the group disbanded. But the album venture is where the beat production bug bit. Playing a small production role in the groups album he was being mentored by Zhao-Ski. Along with Massiah Da God (group member and brother) The duo formed a music production company called One Room Productions. Sam then went on to release a solo album "Hip Hop Cometh" (2008). Shortly after he relaunched the production company and re-titled himself Sam Da Grouch after seeing the direction of hip-hop. Since 2009 he has taken his style of beat making to many different levels & genres, Rap, Trap, Hip-Hop, R&B, and EDM. He has worked with many artist across the globe from USA, UK, Africa, & Canada.
