With parents who are professional violin and double bass players, Vladimir de Groot grew up surrounded by classical music. Learning how to play the cello by the age of 4, knowing how to read notes sooner than books and writing & composing his own music at a very young age, made him a real musical wonder kid. Later on he discovered the world of Electronic Dance Music, and that’s when Vluarr was born. Successful releases on labels like Monstercat and Barong Family followed as he kept improving his sound. Experimenting between the different sounds from Trap to Deep House, he evolved his sound into Melodic Bass House which he signatures with where it all began; the classic cello. Played and recorded by himself, influences of the cello are combined with his victorious and compelling electronic melodies. Add a solid bass drop and that is what makes Vluarr’s productions recognizably stand out from the masses. Vluarr takes you into his world by using real orchestral instruments combined with energetic sounds giving it an emotional yet powerful atmosphere that you’re drawn into. 2022 marks the year of a new chapter for Vluarr with releases on STMPD Records and Spinnin’ Records together with artists like Martin Garrix, Brooks, Mesto and Seth Hills.
