Originally from Pasadena, CA, the multidisciplinary singer/song-writer orchestrates bodies of work beyond the boundaries of R&B/Hip Hop. Seeking inspiration from his religious upbringing, Deon offers multi-faceted stories of identity, religion and politics centered around Blackness through sound. With comparisons to Kanye West, Frank Ocean and Sade, Brown launched his career with the highly anticipated album release of “HOME”, after his debut opening performance for Rico Nasty in 2021, with a performance film turning his healing into high art in real time.
