Born in 2015, the project OBERON aims to create music without limits, taking influences from classical music to progressive rock, from the hard stoner to the medieval folk, building Audio Visions for people that still want to dream and listen. The project revolves around Yuri Crescenzio, composer and multi-instrumentalist who then asks trusted collaborators to help him in the recording phase. OBERON recorded their first album The Mountain of Fate in 2016. Self-produced and available in digital and physical format, they have been positively reviewed by the Progarchives. The concept is based on the most famous greek myths, re-evaluated in a modern way. It's a journey of meditation through issues such as greed, the search of the impossible, freedom, narcissism, hate, war, Spleen and many more induced by the nowadays society. The second album ''The Sleep Produces Monsters'', inspired by the underground progressive rock bands of the seventies with a heavy sound, was released on April 29th, 2018. The concept of this album is the mental instability of the human being, governed by his fears, in conflict with himself, troubled by anxieties and visions arising from his mind.
