Biography

William Blue a.k.a Lunacy was born June 4th, 1986 in St. Louis Missouri. He spent most of his life moving between Missouri and Utah. During this time he experienced all kinds of musical genre's. It wasn't until he was 12 years old, living in Utah, he discovered the captivating sound of Rap and Hip Hop music. Listening to a variety a musical superstars from Tupac, Biggie, Bone Thugs 'n' Harmony, and many other legendary artists, who inspired him to try his hand at poetry which lead to rapping. At 15 he moved back to his home town of St. Louis, Missouri, where he began to develop his own personal style of rap. With inspiration from the likes of Tech N9ne, Twista, Busta Rhymes, and Krayzie Bone as inspiration. In an attempt to fit in among the local rap scene he would join a competition to create a rap album (Veltside Veterans with rap artist Plush, Yung Trill, T-Tone and Lunacy himself) which was sponsored by Theodore Roosevelt High School, Nelly's Shoes Fa Sho For Kids, the Mayor, the Marshall Faulk Foundation, and many more. At 20, he moved back to Utah, to be with family and childhood friends and really started to hone in on his skills as an artist. He's performed at bars, clubs, and art galleries. Which brings us all to the present, as the result of another competition and dropping his hottest new single Run It completely shaking things up. As well appearing in a Grind Mode Cypher as a Grind Mode Affiliate in the Salt Lake City Vol. 1.
