Jimmie grew up in a home immersed in sound: Gospel from his mother, hip-hop, jazz classic r&b & soul from his father, contemporary r&b and radio hits from his sister, and old dusty vinyls from his Uncle Steven. On his own, Jimmie discovered a love for alternative rock & electronic music via last.fm on xbox and anime AMVs on youtube, spanish mariachi from his neighbors of 14 years and country music after spending a summer working in Texas. All of these sounds and sensibilities intertwine with one another to create something new and fresh. 
 Jimmie officially started to pursue music in 2015 filling up notebooks with rhymes and recording in makeshift studios wherever he could find them. He honed his skills for 2 years before releasing his first single “Who Would’ve Thought” on Soundcloud in 2017 and first mixtape “Inland Epic” in 2018. Forming a stronger alliance with ZachTheHero, they released “The Ark” on streaming platforms in 2019 and have been inseparable since. 
 Making quantum leaps with every release Jimmie is plotting a complete takeover of popular culture with eyes on film, tv, fashion, and business in addition to music. “To show the kids who don’t believe in themselves that you could do it too. I was as regular as they come, but I refused to lose and have a relentless drive to win. It’s a marathon not a sprint, I’m moving pieces on the chessboard playing this game of life the way I want to, on my terms.”
