Biography

That beat guy from round Leicester way. Not one to bask in plaudits or attention Sik Sense has been kicking around the shadows of the Hip Hop scene for 2 decades now. From running mixtapes around Leicestershire along with your favourite coloured vibe in a small bag in the early 2000s to honing his production in student housing box rooms. Even infiltrating the Norfolk, VA (U.S) juggernaut Fugitive 9 as their go to beat maker through numerous projects as a collective. You can be well travelled while sat down, right? From the VA underground to a classic summertime jam with One Oz up in Scotland, Trip Hop with French outfit La Vie d'Artiste. Adverts for cars in Russia and Chicken shops in Nottingham. An absolutely spanking trio of EPs with Edison Av. Background music for your Dads Only Fans content. All the way back home home to Leicester working with local veterans Strizzy Straus and Twisted Penny's. Sik Sense often takes solace in the fact you couldn't recognise his beats in a line up. He's not shy about his love for breaks and Jazz loops as displayed through the Don't Talk to Strangers beat tape series however venturing into the discography you'll soon discover a myriad of sounds on display for your listening pleasure covering every aspect of Hip Hop featuring a huge list of talented mcs. Through field mic recordings, obscure samples and chords only someone who doesn't know how to play them could offer he pieces together canvases for artists to deface as they see fit.
