Pop Legendary grew up with music running through him (his dad Shorty Pop was once a member of the renowned go-go band, Junk Yard) who was once signed to Def Jam. Shorty Pop was also affiliated with DC legend Wayne Perry & Alpo. Pop Legendary father was also not just well known in music but in the streets as well being the first person from DC to have a bounty put on him in the late 80’s being America’s Most Wanted. Shorty Pop life was cut short early, he passed away at the age of 19. Pop Legendary started writing and recording his own material when he was a teenager, but didn’t pursue his craft seriously until years after graduating from high school. 
 Pop prides himself on being a well-rounded artist who has zero limits to making a record and has creativity to match anyone or any genre in the studio.
