Katia Val’s music is well-known for its expressive force and emotional range. She is a pro at making tracks that are both reflective and danceable - fusing mind and heart in a distinctive way that is immediately recognisable. Her subtle yet clever use of synthesisers, drum machines, and other electronic instruments, results in a soundscape that is both timeless and futuristic.
 Born in Ukraine, raised in Australia and now based between Paris and Brussels, Katia Val is passionate and uncompromising about her tastes. She uses her vast musical influences to bring a unique energy to the club through carefully curated DJ sets and genre-merging original production. You can expect an array of styles in her DJ sets including bouncy trance, euphoric trance, deep techno, prog, and percussive groove, sprinkled with sultry vocals, and a hint of bass music & breakbeat.
 After making her mark on the Aussie techno scene, she left the continent in 2019 and has since played at iconic clubs such as RSO Berlin, OXI Berlin, Ved Siden Af, Macadam, Rex Club & Boro Room in Bogotá to name a few.
