Biography

Alessandra Celletti, rooted in a classical foundation, weaves a rich tapestry of musical and artistic exploration, pivoting into her distinct and personal musical realm with the piano at its gravitational core. Her debut in 1994 with "Les sons et les parfums" showcased a devotion to Debussy, Ravel, and Satie, marking the onset of her multifaceted journey. Embracing authorship in 2006 with "Chi mi darà le ali," she remains a cherished interpreter of diverse compositions, spanning Janáček, Gurdjieff/de Hartmann, Scott Joplin, and Philip Glass. A collaborator with esteemed figures like Hans Joachim Roedelius in the realm of experimental electronic music, Alessandra Celletti embarked on the audacious "piano piano on the road" tour in 2013, transporting her piano across Italy aboard a truck. Her extensive discography culminates in the latest release, a limited edition of 500 numbered copies, titled #cellettiblue on colored vinyl. Celletti's music unfolds as a kaleidoscope, showcasing the varied nuances of her compositional artistry—a visual and auditory realm she passionately shares in live performances of rare intensity. Having graced stages across Europe, Asia, America, and Africa, Alessandra Celletti's music resonates globally with tireless tenacity and swirling enthusiasm.
