ANTONIO SERRANO & CONSTANZA LECHNER

Biography

Constanza Lechner begins playing the piano at the age of 2 taught by her mother, the musical pedagogue Lolita Lechner. At the age of 3 she starts to record TV comercials singing and playing the piano. She graduates on classical piano at San Lorenzo del Escorial Conservatorium, combining this studies with others in Harpischord, Musica Antiqua, modern piano and Jazz at the Escuela de Musica Creativa in Madrid. This open approach to music, has led her to play with various symphonic orchestras, like Orquesta Filarmònica de España, Orquesta Sinfònica de Cordoba or Orquesta Sinfònica de Murcia among others, as well as to be part of different Chamber Music ensembles and also, record with artists like Fernando Egozcue, Ara Malikian, Javier Ruibal, Pablo Carbonell or Javier Krahe. She has toured in France, Greece, Jordan, Switzerland, USA, Canada (Montreal Jazz Festival), Turkey, Cyprus, Bahreim, Oman and Germany. She has also collaborated with the Company “Ibèrica de Danza” and is oftenly required as a pianist by the National Ballet of Spain. In 2015 she records her album “INFANCIA” which brings the music of great classical composers closer to children. This album has been recommended by Scherzo magazine and different music pedagogues. Her next projects are recording an album with Antonio Serrano and playing in different concerts halls such as Teatros del Canal, Fundaciòn Juan March, Teatro de la Zarzuela and Teatro Real in Madrid.
