Sabaman is a London based MC, DJ and Producer, which infuses the essence of Reggae, Dancehall and Hip Hop with his unique "dialetto salentino" slang, reminiscent of the traditional sounds of Pizzica, originating from Southern Italy's Salento region. Currently, Sabaman is teaming up with Mauro Lacandia and his band "Tarantola" to forge a fresh sonic path fusing their Salento roots and their dynamic energy, giving birth to an exciting new sound. The debut single, “Original Terron,” which is the first track from the upcoming Tarantola’s album “One Blood” aims to serve as an anthem for individuals who hold their cultural roots in their heart, regardless of where life takes them. While their second track "Capufriska", alongside Papa Leu and the Brass Brothers, it's a celebration of their motherland, Salento, with his contagious riddim and joyous lyrics it reminds the holiday mood and the happiness of this genuine and sunny place. Brief History: Sabaman, also known as Stefano Russo, was born in Salento, Italy, in 1989. He began his journey as a DJ in 2005, driven by his passion for Hip Hop and Reggae music. In 2010, he decided to move to London to explore the world of music production and in 2013, along with Kollaman, he founded the Rah.Stars Project. The numerous musical projects realized in London made it possible to successfully host various events that have become true landmarks, involving numerous Reggae and Hip Hop artists from the Italian and international scene.
