Phix, a singer and songwriter from Texas, just co-released "Narcissist" with Canadian singer and rapper Dax. He has also had recent success with the release of his popular rock single "WAR" that made it's way to Sirius XM's "Octane" station. Following up with his second heavy rock single of the year, "UNDERNEATH" with Ryan Oakes just premiere on the 22nd of March. With a comparable sound to artists such as Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, and a side of rap.. there is a plethora of melodious choruses and incredibly driving production. He is from the city of Lubbock, Texas which is home to Texas Tech University. From the early age of 17, Phix began his journey creating hip-hop music with long-time friend known as "Black Zeus". The first song he ever recorded was a remix to Drake's original song "Fear" around 2008. This lead to teaching himself how to mix, setup a recording space, and ultimately start becoming an independent artist. Fast forward into the mid 2000s and he has created a few mixtapes and solo projects that were uploaded to Datpiff and Soundcloud. A lot of influence early on in his creative development was from G-Eazy and his project "The Tipping Point", to Logic's "Young Sinatra" mixtapes. Phix is set to embark on tour with FROM ASHES TO NEW on their Blackout Part 2 tour across the United States this Summer.
