Fusing the genres of reggae, neo-soul, and pop-funk, Markus Mann's sound is as original as it is powerful. Having grown up in Trinidad and the United States, France and now relocated to Amsterdam, Markus Mann's music draws inspiration from his travels and experiences around the world. Having recently collaborated with renowned Dutch producer, Sven “Hammond” Figee, Mann finished and released his debut album "Fake News", already to much international acclaim. His first single “On The Inside”, gives us his signature creative blend of genres showcasing a fusion of reggae and funk with an upbeat and rhythmic tone. Mann spent the last several years touring around Europe performing at events which featured widely-respected artists such as Patrice, Jain, Irma, Selah Sue, Nada Surf, Keziah Jones and Pete Doherty. Soon after being signed to BMG Music, he began hitting the festival circuit, performing at large-scale events such as North Sea Jazz, Haarlem Jazz and Brussels Summer Festival. The eclectic artist doesn't rest there. He's been busy with several projects again, with releases coming soon.
