Biography

SoSoon is a New York City Hip-Hop artist, producer, scholar and educator. The moniker SoSoon, an acronym for Sound Of Something Out Of Nothing represents the heart of Hip-Hop culture which was developed by folks who had no access to outlets for creative expression. 
 Notable accolades include opening for noteworthy artist Dead Prez, M.O.P., Saigon, Leaders of the New School, Smoothe Da Hustler and Trigga Da Gambler. SoSoon was a staple of the critically acclaimed Ghetto Metal concert series sponsored by www.TheSource.com from 2011-2012. 
 SoSoon was a featured performer in “Fatherhood” the documentary which aired on Fuse Tv in 2019. 
 His music can be heard in the movie “American Trial: The Eric Garner Story” which aired on Reelz Television in June of 2020. 
 Current Project: On May 28th 2020, SoSoon released his second EP of the year, S.O.N.Y. Quarantine: a 7 track EP that is the first full length music project dedicated to the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic. S.O.N.Y. Quarantine is available to purchase on Bandcamp and to stream on Soundcloud and coming SOON to Spotify.
