Skyshaker is one of several production aliases of composer Sky Vemanei. Their music aims to speak to the bodily and psychological experiences of transgender people of color. Their sonic reconstructions of their multicultural upbringing has become an inimitable signature of deconstructed club music as an affiliate of Qween Beat, Fake Accent, GHE20GOTH1K and Chicago-based Futurehood. Their remix album "Novox 10" is out now on Shanghai-based SVBKVLT. Their latest EP "Saunter" is out now on their label Xemseya.
