Azerbaijani balaban, tutak, zurna player. He was born on November 2, 1995 in Goranboy district of Azerbaijan. Magsad Azizov, a descendant of the great Azerbaijani artist Ashig Alasgar, has been interested in music since childhood. Magsad Azizov received his first education at the Republic Art Gymnasium. In 2013, he entered the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, where he learned the intricacies of balaban,zurna from prominent Azerbaijani musicians Elshad Jabbarov and Shirzad Fataliyev. Since studying at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory in 2013, he has been involved in many prestigious projects. The first of these projects is the European Games organized in Azerbaijan in 2015. At the opening ceremony of the European Games, he performed in the ensemble of world-famous musician Alim Gasimov. Along with the grandiose events held in Azerbaijan, Magsad Azizov successfully presented his performances in Austria, Italy, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, England, Thailand, India, Taiwan, Korea, Turkey and was met with great interest by the audience. And the collaboration with Natig rhythm group has a special place in Azizov career. He participated in the WOMEX music festival in Hungary, international music festivals such as Transcaucasian festival, The Spirit of Tengri Festival, One Caucasus Festival, Maha Shivrati Festival, together with legendary nagara performer Natig Shirinov. Performing in groups of world-famous musicians, Magsad Azizov has always focused on his solo career.
