From 2000, Eric focused on his own brand as a solo artist. This meant a record deal with Playground Music, and the release of his solo album You Are Somebody. Gigs in Spain and Denmark (Roskilde Festival) and Sweden (Hultsfred) followed. The album featured collaborations with great vocalists as LaGaylia Frazier, Demetrius Price, Angie Brown and Swedish rapper/singer A.D.L (Adam Baptiste). MTV Airplay and great DJ support on the track You Are Somebody which featured the iconic Martha Jean The Queen was one of the many fruits from this album. In the following years, Eric worked with a lounge album in Swedish “Swimming pool sound”, with guest stars such as Uno Svenningsson, Petter, Irma Schultz, and Governor Andy. The band Evolver was also one of many great productions that he was involved with. The artist Swing Fly and Eric S also had some great songs done during this period. On the remix side, Eric teamed up with N.Y based Jonathan Fine as management. Plenty of mixes where made, Rupee with Tempted To Touch and also Eric re-mixed his childhood favorite, Bob Marley. More original songs followed on Sidelake Underground, I Believe and Hip Hop Died In The ‘80s with remixes from Style Of Eye and Phaxx, to mention a few. Most recent productions is his new track, Stay The Funk In The House which features Michael Rapaport, an outspoken actor, director, and podcaster with over 30 years in show business. Future is bright and music keeps you well and happy / Eric S
