Caelin Rivers is the pseudonym for Andrea Shipka. While initially not considering herself a composer, Rivers decided to explore her creative abilities and began writing instrumental passive piano songs to challenge herself. They gained popularity and sparked her interest in finding a way to instrumental music with her love of folk. Now her music lives somewhere in between Pheobe Bridgers and Olafur Arnalds. At the core of her music lies a strong desire to connect with others, a passion for cinematic scores, and a genuine longing capture life’s experiences. Caelin’s music has accumulated over 4 million streams on Spotify, and she was recently selected for the 2024 cohort of the TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship, a fantastic program supported by the SOCAN Foundation. Right now, she’s hard at work on a new EP, which is set to be released in 2025
