Best known as the nasal, staccato voice of '90s Latino hemp-hoppers Funkdoobiest, Puerto Rican MC Son Doobie (born Jason Vasquez) has established himself outside of his former group as not only a rapper, but as a radio personality and , uh, an adult film actor. Although not the only rap star to pursue an interest in porn -- Snoop Dogg has as well -- he was most likely the first, a distinction sure to pepper future hip hop trivia forevermore. Musically, Son has stayed active as a part of Latino rap supergroup the Serial Rhyme Killers with Mellow Man Ace and Cypress Hill's B-Real. Along with Swollen Members, Abstract Rude and Buc Fifty, Son has also been active as part of the underground Battle Axe crew.
