The Rhetorician (Jordan Moss) is an American rapper, lyricist, and disciple of poetic justice. Originally hailing from the East Coast in Pittsburgh Pa, Moss took his act to the Pacific Northwest, residing in Bellingham, WA. where he writes and preforms all his own music. Doesn’t matter if it’s the musical styles of consciences, alternative, trap or jazz rap, The Rhetorician wears his influences on his sleeve. Growing up to the soundtrack of hip-hop archetypes like A Tribe Called Quest, MF Doom, Lauryn Hill, De La Soul and The Pharcyde, motivated him to get on stage and carve his own path within rap’s mounting history. Backed by fellow Bellingham Producers, @Slapserif, @Pacifix, @Nodalus, @Estimate, Hunter Gillam and @KLEFTO The Rhetorician has worked relentlessly to release two LPs, two EPs, and several singles since starting his musical career in October 2019. His Lyrical themes frequently touch on the plights of the black community, his critique of the music industry’s capitalistic motives, and 90s cartoons. He also references fictional character, Zack Taylor, the original Black Power Ranger. Zack Taylor is the inspiration for Moss’ Fan fiction alter ego (The Black Ranger). Taylor was Moss’ first look at a TV actor who, in his opinion, portrayed young African Americans as a superhero and positive influence for many young black millennials. ~ Chris Butcher https://www.therhetorician100.com/ #coolruption #spreadtherhetoric Rhetoric & Expression LLC
