George Tsirtsikos, also known as George Tk, is a music producer from Piraeus, Greece. He has studied photography, music technology, digital arts, and cinema, gaining a multifaceted artistic education. For several years, he worked at the largest record stores in the city, absorbing various musical influences and transforming them into images. George Tk’s music productions are characterized by the use of twelve-string guitars, nostalgic synths, and intense repetitive electronic rhythms. Through his music, he aims to create the soundtrack of everyday life, offering a unique auditory experience. One of his parallel projects, “The Big Port Soundsystem”, is particularly interesting as it combines rebetiko and world sounds with electronic music. This project reflects his love for his hometown and his ability to assimilate different musical genres, creating an ethnic coexistence under the prism of electronic music.
