Louis-Ronan Choisy was born on May 12, 1977 in Paris. After playing with several indie-rock bands, he released his first album D’apparence en apparence in 2003. After the pop sound of La nuit m'attend and the synthetic textures of the album Les enfants du siècle, Rivière de plumes was released in 2010, warmer and luminous, and he sang with the French band Nouvelle Vague on their album Couleurs sur Paris. That same year, he played in Le Refuge, a François Ozon movie. He also composed the soundtrack for the film. A completely instrumental and conceptual album, Les corps fantômes, succeeded at the electric and urban Crocodile. His latest record, released in 2024, is the soundtrack to the film Grotte Cosquer, Homo sapiens et la mer by Vincent Pérazio. The sounds are aquatic and mix orchestral writing and sound design.
