Composer, producer, singer-songwriter, guitarist, arranger. He studied (i) at the Marcelo Tupinambá (now Marcelo Tupinambá Colleges) and at the Heitor Villa Lobos Conservatories (technique, harmony, composition and arrangement); (ii) vocal technique with the singing teacher and conductor of the Coralusp Sandra Spiresz and Techniques applied to the guitar with the guitarists Armando Vidigal and Cristina Azuma. He worked for years in São Paulo's nightlife in venues such as Blue Note Jazz Bar, Estrelato, Café Piu-Piu, Chopperia Murumbi, Boca da Noite, Café Paris, among others. He was invited to perform the opening of shows by artists such as Milton Nascimento, Zé Geraldo and Oswaldo Montenegro. He has performed in cultural projects such as "São Paulo de Todos os Sons", sponsored by the Government of the State of São Paulo, which brought together renowned names on the national scene such as Milton Nascimento and Grupo Fundo de Quintal; he was a member of the Tainá Group, from Coralusp, singing as a tenor in the project called "Tainá Canta Meio Século de Brasil", involving in the repertoire names such as Chiquinha Gonzaga, Ary Barroso, Luiz Gonzaga, under the regency of Maestro Benito Juarez and Mastrina Sandra Spiresz; "Project "Prata da Casa" and "O Melhor do Prata da Casa" (Sesc Pompéia - SP); Liberdade Musical Itaú (Pça da Liberdade-BH-MG); Dois Tempos Project - Abílio Barreto Museum (BH-MG); see more about Carlos Gomes in https://www.facebook.com/carlos.gomes.official.
