Brock spent his early adult years writing, recording and experimenting with songs. Stealing minutes in recording studios and organised writing trips across Canada. Songs started to pour out, demo upon demo of uplifting but melancholy musical moments began filling up his hard drives. Tracking every instrument by himself - that sound of acoustic soul, meeting electrified country, keeping focused on big melodies hails back to Brock’s all time favourite writer Paul McCartney. More Sense (12.12.22) is a ten-song exploration of how our failures — and our fixations on them — not only shape but enlighten us. While coming close to finishing the album Brock wanted the sound of at least one more person on each track. He’s joined by BLSNG on two tracks, Colin Carbonara on two as well. His band brothers Connor Shram & Patrick Whelan take care of violin & keys, all while having Producer Phenix Warren’s folk/pop touch on nearly every song.
