YOKELUST is the stage name for Yiannis Nikodellis, a queer, multi-genre producer/artist living and creating on Ngunnawal Country. Yiannis has been booked and blessed for over 8 years, DJing and performing at many iconic queer events like Furcoat at The Bearded Tit, Fresh Out Festival, Canned Fruits, Heaps Gay at The National Portrait Gallery and Mary’s Underground, THROB at Sideway, Woody’s Social at The Bank, Big Thick Energy and Icon’s Only parties for World Pride in Sydney and has had the privilege of remixing songs by queer icons Brendan McLean, Alice Terry, THE GAZE, Max Lawrence, Dyan Tai and Jannah Beth, and collaborated on various projects with legends Dad’s Mayo, THE GAZE, Ekaph, Leandro Coelho and Exani - with more collaboration projects in the works. After the success of the breakout EP ‘Feel The Lust’ on queer label Body Positive Music in 2020, Yiannis has been gradually releasing an array of outstanding house/disco singles such as ‘House Music is Black’, ‘Nightclubbing’, ‘All Gucci’ and mostly recently ‘I’m Better’ and ‘Notice Me Senpai’ - all in the lead up to the long awaited full length album ‘Unabashed’ coming December 2023.
