For Cambria, songwriting is everything. Starting at age 8, she wrote songs and dreamed about performing every waking moment. She’d write on the school bus, in her classes, and even as she tried to fall asleep. Songwriting was a whimsical and skilled art she longed to master. Now, at age 23, it’s become a need - unfulfilled potential that weighs on her heart. “The rest of my life isn’t worth living unless I give songwriting and music my everything. What kind of teacher, mother, and friend will I be if I never try?” Cambria’s call to be an Artist comes down to the need to capture her emotions, failures, and successes, and tell stories in songs for others to hear, interpret, and adopt into their personal lives - all with lyrical and melodic finesse. “Some songs will make you dance, while others will make you think. That’s the complexity of our human existence. Some needs and wants are basic, while others are entirely incomprehensible for a time”.
