Rashaad Compton, widely known as CompC, is a prominent artist from the hip-hop genre after a 9.5 year stint in the military. Under the newly established Po’ Boi Production he ventured off into beat production as well. His introduction to music began through embracing his artist gifts and poetry at a young age, listening to Prince, Marvin Gaye, Chocolate Milk and Heatwave influenced his “swang” flow into raps after listening to “personal legends” in no particular order such as International Jones, Do Or Die, Dom Kennedy, 2Pac, DMX, Big K.R.I.T., Devin The Dude , Curren$y, Lil Wayne , Kevin Gates with the dreads and André 3000 to name a few helped fine tune.
