Michael Pascual (born April 10, 1999), known professionally as OZY, is an American DJ and record producer based in Miami, Florida. He is the sole founder of Zaftig Records, an up and coming music label soon to head internationally. OZY has also worked with several local artists and has even produced for up and coming Hip-Hop artist in Florida as well. Born and raised in South Florida, OZY was exposed to several different types of music growing up. During his adolescence, 80's music was always playing around the house. From Madonna to Michael Jackson, the '80s were alive and well in his home. Hip-Hop was also a very big interest of his as well. Growing up OZY was raised solely by his mother. Listening to Hip-Hop he could relate to the countless stories about absentee fathers. Since he has never seen or met his father he could relate to these stories. At a young age, OZY started to learn to play several instruments. From the guitar to the piano and eventually the trumpet. OZY inevitably went on to study music theory, and eventually went on to study music in college as well. OZY maybe young, but he seems to be here for a long time. He's very excited about his first official release of his new EP "Vice". He chose the name vice for his first project as a homage to his past and where he came from. As to never forget the memories and experiences that made him the artist he is today.
