Arguably one of Houston, Texas' finest DJs and music producers, DJ Hawk, knows what it means to lay things out creatively and calculatedly. DJ Hawk became a radio producer, content creator, and a much sought after club DJ whilst educating himself and working the controls for the world-famous syndicated morning show 'The Breakfast Club'. He played in clubs across the world at nights and on weekends and effectively balancing his day job. Along with hands-on experience, DJ Hawk has quite a diverse spectrum of musical training. Today, this is evident in the way he performs and produces, which he started focusing on a more professional level approximately five years ago. 
 Born in the eighties but raised in the nineties (the golden age of music), hip-hop, R&B and dancehall surrounded Alex Haq aka DJ Hawk as a child. He began flexing his muscles around turntables in high school that followed him to college. He then ventured into creating mixtapes which would later feed his appetite and interest in music production. Working closely with Houston and Miami based producers and Jamaican hitmakers such as Chimney Records, DJ Hawk recognized that he had the penchant for executive producing and riddim production. 
 DJ Hawk is currently working with musicians & artists worldwide to release his debut compilation EP encompassing years of concepts.
